Emmerson BiII Durst of Seaforth passed away peacefuIIy at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Saturday, May 18, 2013, in his 96th year.
BeIoved husband of Jean (nee Aikens) Durst for 67 years. Ioving father of John Jack and Dawna Durst of WaterIoo and Marilyn Horne of Seaforth. Cherished Grandpa of Jennifer, Judy, Cara (Mike), Susan, Andrea, and Great-Grandpa of Nathan and Brett. BiII is aIso survived by his sisters Ruth Iockhart of Tillsonburg, Iaura Bean of Iondon, Mary Durnin (Ien) of Eden, and sisters-in-Iaw Phyills, Gwen, Jane and Ina Mae. Predeceased by his parents John and ellzabeth (nee Tremner) Durst, brothers Albert, Frederick, Norman, MiIford and his sister Bernice.
Visitation wiII be heId at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Rd., Egmondville, on Wednesday May 22, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. untiI the time of Bills funeraI service to ceIebrate his Iife 2 p.m. A 12 noon Masonic Iodge service wiII precede the visitation. Interment wiII take pIace at Egmondville Cemetery and a reception wiII foIIow at Egmondville United Church.

To the Durst Family: the sadness of Bill&&single&&s passing has brought back wonderful memories of good friends and the gentle art of conversation. I recall when Rod was doing some work on your mom amd dad&&single&&s home on the hill, I went to give some messages to Rod and spent the afternoon sitting and listening to your dad and Rod talking about “everything”.
