I cherirish my visit with Mervin last summer.Always asked how the people are doing that he used to deal with at the time of the camp in Restoule.
I still remember the first joke Mervin told me about the Chirrrrrriiiisssssss bird.
He had me believing him at first because he looked so serious when he told it.
I will miss both him and Nellie

Lawrence and Douglas and Families, Mervyn was a wonderful person. A kind and loving soul. His families were his world. He had a very great talent for making you laugh until the tears ran down your cheeks. Then he would be telling me his Grandson’s hockey score. One of Mervyn’s favourite pies was raison. Mom told me they were at a picnic and there was an electrical storm brewing up but Mervyn was bound and determined to have his pie.
I am sorry that I lost track of Mervyn this past year not knowing he was sick. It is a comfort knowing Mervyn and Nellie are together again. I am sorry I cannot be there tomorrow but I will be thinking of you all. Love and prayers Bill and Christine Tinney.
