Marilyn, Dennis & family:
We are sorry for your loss of your mother. Remembering the great times my mom talked about when the “bridge” girls got together to play and visit, and times when I was a young girl visiting your mom and dad’s farm.
I know you got to enjoy having your mom during her very long, well-lived life, but also know that it seems we can never be ready for a mother to leave us, no matter how many years we have treasured her as mom and friend.
Thoughts and prayers are with you,
Judy (Finkbeiner) & Barry Johnson

Where do I start. Alwinna was a wonderful neighbour, sharing her sour Apples and her climbing tree. Always there for Halloween’s and school donations. Playing bridge with my Mother and the other gals.
In later years I had the privilege of going into her home to do her hair, as she once came to mine for my Mother to do hers.
Her countenance was always the same and comforting. She will always have fond memories of her and my younger years. So pleased that she was my neighbour and family friend for all those years.

Dear Marilyn and Dennis and Kim and Family,
So sorry to hear of your loss, but how wonderful that your mother lived such a long, full life! I remember her telling me how she scooped you up and ran back to the house when the tornado hit back when you were a little girl! She and her sister Grace were two of the loveliest ladies I have ever met. Keeping you both close in prayer and trusting that your mother is now reunited with your Dad and her sister Grace and family,
Sincerely,
Sheila and Richard Macgregor

❤️Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
It was an honour to have known Alwinna growing up in Crediton and being able to see her smiling face as we headed to the park as young kids and hanging out at Grandma’s house with all the card playing ladies. Memories to last a lifetime.
