Peacefully, at North Lambton Lodge, Forest, on Monday, December 10, 2012, Allan Eugene Gascho, formerly of Zurich, passed away in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Isabel (Purcell) Gascho of Grand Bend. Dear father of Linda Moran of Toronto, Marilyn and John Geiger of Delaware, Carol and Brian Belchamber of Ottawa and Maura and Paul Perna of Grand Bend. Loving grandfather of Kirsten and Ed Gillespie, Michael Moran; Andrew Geiger and Kelly Burgess, Steven and Jackie Geiger; Eric and Sabrina Belchamber, Adam Belchamber; Julie and Cameron Ross, Daniel Perna and great-grandfather of Isabel Gillespie, Madison and MacKenzie Geiger, Talbot and Charlie Geiger and Mason Belchamber. Dear brother-in-law of Margaret Storey and Edith Purcell. Predeceased by his parents John and Erma (Geiger) Gascho and his sister Marjorie Witmer and her husband Orville, brothers-in-law Elmer Storey and Arthur Purcell and sister-in-law Mildred Giles and her husband Bob. Allan was known for his great baking at the Tasty-Nu Bake shop in Zurich for many years and was a pilot with RCAF during WWll.
Cremation. Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N, Zurich Ontario on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2 p.m. Pastor Nadine Schroeder-Kranz officiating. Interment Emmanuel United Cemetery, Zurich.
