I used to enjoy speaking with Mr Miller when on my paper route. He was a good customer and an excellent tipper at Christmas. I haven&&single&&t seen him for years but the news of his passing saddens me.

Dear Joyce and Family,
From Trudy and I sincerest condolences on the passing of George. While I haven&&single&&t seen him in many years, he became a friend when my father purchased the Texaco so long ago, and I still consider him that. My left ear is still wet from our first encounter. To the Miller Family – Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you at this time. I have to say I remember as a 17 year old coming to Seaforth and not knowing anyone and George at that time owned the little garage on Goderich Street and he made me feel so welcome in Seaforth and I never forgot that nor did he forget me. He always spoke and always called me by name. He was a highly thought of man and never did I hear anyone say anything bad about George. Even though he was given many years – he will be missed by all that knew him Our thoughts are with you at this time Harry and Dianne mero

Joyce, Deb & Doug, Vickie & Craig: We would like to extend our sympathies to you, at this sad time. Harry met George years ago, when George worked for Ford, and then late last fall, Harry and I met George at Seaforth Hospital, where he shared a room with Jim Delaney and my Dad, Watson Reid. They all were the same age and called themselves the “89 Club”. Sadly, now they are all gone. Even though I only had the pleasure of speaking with him a few times, George seemed like such a lovely gentleman – soft spoken, interested in others and just a nice, gentle soul. There is no doubt he will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences. Harry and Donna Arts

Dear Joyce, Deb and Vicki,
I was just heartbroken to learn that George had passed away. He was such a gentle caring soul. How fortunate I was to have grown up with him right next door. He always greeted me with a smile and was genuinely interested in hearing what was new in my life. I have so many special memories, but my favourite is of George and Mischief together in a lawnchair, soaking up the summer sunshine as he recouperated from the accident. Oh, and the sound of his chuckle. It just made you feel good to hear it! I often heard Dad say he had scored lucky to have George Miller as a neighbour, friend and boss. Please know I am thinking of you.
My love to you all,
Elaine
