It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, of Exeter in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Huggins) Stasik for almost 38 years. Loving father of Jennifer Stasik and Jason Cates of St. Marys and Geoffrey and his wife Jana of Hensall. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Allysa, Aidan, Jaseena; Alexandra, Samantha and MacKenzie who were the joy of his life, and his sister-in-law Diane Huggins of Burford. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Zofia Stasik.
George worked at Big “O”, Bell Aerospace and farmed for many years outside Hensall. He loved playing on his computer and recently took up gardening, but his greatest passion was walking on the Morrison-McNaughton Trail.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) on Thursday evening 7-9 PM.
Cremation with a private family interment at Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Wow what a great man !!!! So knowledgable about so many things. I loved are talks but what I loved the most was seeing his eyes light up when his family ( especially his Grand kids walk into the room. His love for his family lit up the room. We have truly all been blessed to have this man’s presence in our lives. He has left a little bit of that spirit with us all who have known him
