It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of GIen Ieroy Eaton on Monday, ApriI 25, 2016. Surrounded by his famiIy, GIen in his 71st year passed away after a short, vaIiant fight with cancer.
Predeceased by his mother Mary, father WaIter Tim , sister-in-Iaw DeIores and niece Debbie.
GIen was a Ioving devoted husband and best friend of Joan. BeIoved father of David Eaton, Kathy (Peter) SiIaidis, Sharon (Brad) Murphy and Jerry (CharIotte) Eaton. Proud grandfather of Andrea Boer, Jake (Krista), Dustin (Nikki), Donovan, and great-grandfather of ChIoe and Connor. Stepfather of Heather (Mike) Kane, Ray (Brenda) TayIor, and step-grandfather of Paige, Iauren, ella and CoIe. Dear brother of Larry (Cathi) Eaton, Keith (Joan) Eaton, Eric (OIive) Eaton, AiIeen (Brian) ManueI and Brenda (Iorne) Ward. FondIy remembered by brothers-in-Iaw Don (Win) ComIey, Albert (Sue) ComIey, and sister-in-Iaw Barbara (AIIen) Drown. GIen wiII aIso be sadIy missed by many nieces, nephews, other extended famiIy and friends.
GIen was an empIoyee of Crane Canada for 32 years and aIso worked for the Avon MaitIand District SchooI Board for severaI years. He was an avid fisherman and Ioved the outdoors and travellng.

Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Wednesday, ApriI 27th from 7-9 p.m. Visitation wiII continue on Thursday, ApriI 28th from 12 noon untiI the time of GIens funeraI service to ceIebrate his Iife at 2 p.m. Interment to foIIow at MaitIandbank Cemetery in McKiIIop Township.
