Dear Sharon. So sad to hear of Lyle’s passing. As we’re now all in our mid to late 70’s , Lyle went far too early. I fondly remember the many, many times Lyle and I worked on computer systems and most of all late night problems. It was fun times and having Lyle by my side made it so much better. Rest in peace Lyle, You’ve earned it. Take care Sharon.

I was sad to hear of Lyle’s passing. I wouldn’t expect Sharon to remember me, but I lived on Wellesley Cr. in the 70’s, and worked at London Life as well. I enjoyed many rides in to work with Lyle and Sharon. Lyle was such a good-natured and fun-loving person, and he and Sharon were a lovely couple. No surprise they were married for over 50 years. My sincere condolences to Sharon and the extended family.

Sharon, the morning l heard of Lyle’s passing we were driving out Saintsbury and as always l glanced over at your driveway and remembered the many times l would see Lyle out checking out things in the neighbourhood. We would give each other a wave-will miss that but l know l will continue to look over. You will have your favourite spots and things of recognition you shared together and memories will come and fill your heart. Dale and l send our sympathy and may your memories, family and friends give you comfort.

Sharon, please accept my condolences on Lyle’s passing….. I remember the times Lyle spent with me debugging weird and obscure issues in some Group program that he had inherited. He had an infectious laugh, and sense of humour, that helped reduce the severity of the problem at hand, and thus speeded up the resolution! A good man; may he rest in peace….
love to you and your family …Don

Dear Sharon and the Lawrence Family…
I am so sorry for your great loss. Lyle was a great neighbor, always there to help out when in need. Remember all the times he would drive Ron and of more recent myself and would never take money, he would say “that’s what neighbors do”. Keep all the great memories we had together on Langford Dr close by to give you strength throughout the days to come. Langford Dr corner will not be the same without Lyle out their petting his cat and enjoying a cigar. May he rest in peace with my Ron as they both watch over us.

I will always remember the nicknames – Lyle “Lily Pad” and Sharon “Snort’ that was eloquently named by Uncle Howie. Lyle would always give a big wave as we drove by on Saintsbury. Cherish all the memories, our thoughts are with you all.
