It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Milt Gregory on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the age of 82. Devoted husband of the late H. Jeanette (Thompson) Gregory (2012) for 49 years. Proud father and grandfather of Brian and Tanya Gregory (Jake Gregory and Melody Vachon, and Holly and Grant Masschelein); Carol and Scott Rachuk (Kristen, and Julia); Lisa and Bob Milligan (Carson, and Leah); Janet and Steve Lange (Kaden, Brent (Shauna), Connor, and Riley). Milt will be greatly missed by his loving companion Vera Dingman, his family and his many friends.
During his life, Milt worked with his hands in many ways, most importantly, by being a helping hand, not only to his family, but also to his community, his friends, and his neighbours. He was a longtime firefighter, a dedicated coach, a former elder at the Ilderton United Church, a past member of the Ilderton Fair Board, a farmer, and a hard working, skilled mechanic who kept a lot of motors running for miles around.
Milt enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, travelling, and celebrations. Milt’s well-lived life will be celebrated as follows.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Wednesday, August 2nd from 5 – 8 PM. Registration is appreciated. To register, please click “Register Now” below.
Milt’s memorial service will be held at the Ilderton Community Centre, 13168 Ilderton Road, ILDERTON on Thursday, August 3rd at 11 AM. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow at Littlewood Cemetery.

To all of the Gregory family –
We were shocked and saddened to read today about Milt passing. We ran into Milt and Vera occasionally at the casino in London. Milt was always up for a conversation, which was usually pretty entertaining. He will be smiling when he is reunited with your mom once again.
Milt definitely contributed so much to our community and will be remembered for all his hard work.
