Tyler passed away with family by his side at home on March 23, 2020. Loved husband of Helen (Outerbridge) and proud father of Adam. Dear son of Susan (Heslop) and William Remington, David Hall (Helen). Son-in-law of Danny and Jennifer Outerbridge. The best brother to Amy and Lisa (Jeff) and sisters in law Faith (Tjerk) and Stephanie (Christopher). Adored by his nephew Brock and nieces Caitlin, Madeline, and Isabella. Tyler will be missed by many extended family and friends.
Tyler was a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where he met Helen and together moved to Bermuda and taught for over 20 years. In 2013 they returned to Canada to support their son’s dream of becoming a professional baseball player. Tyler’s proudest moment as a father was in 2017 when Adam was drafted to the Baltimore Orioles.
As a true demonstration of who Tyler was, he created his fundraising campaign named the “Bluejays Getaway” for Paediatric cancer patients. This Fundraising endeavour gave many families an all expense paid weekend in Toronto to create happy memories. To continue his campaign further donations in Tyler’s honour can be made at https://www.gofundme.com/f/67nksaw. Cremation taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a future date.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I was in attendance at the Delmarva game when Tyler threw the first pitch to Adam. It was one of the most touching moments of my life. There is nothing like playing catch with your dad. It is easy to see the pride and joy that Adam and Tyler have for each other. Thank you to Tyler and Adam for their great contributions to the A.B. Lucas baseball program.

May he RIP now. His uncle Chris Hall married my mother in the mid 80s, and only met him a few times. I’m very shocked to hear of his passing. May the peace and love of God touch his family’s heart.

Sending love and strength to Helen, Adam, Sue, Amy, and your entire family. What a battle Tyler fought, with courage, determination, and and a crazy sense of humour. His matter-of-fact approach to life was absolutely inspiring.
I will think of him every time I see one of the kids from his beloved charity, living their Blue Jay adventure!

As an Orioles fan and London resident I have read much about the Hall family and Tyler’s struggles with his illness. They were obviously a very close family. Throwing out the first pitch in Delmarva will be a cherished family memory forever. Adam , when you get to Camden yards you will look up and your Dad will be looking down at you with extreme pride.

Dear Helen, Adam, Amy, and all the family,
We are so very sorry to hear of Tyler’s passing. We were reminiscing about the many baseball games & tournaments spent with all of you. One in particular was Cooperstown, where we had rented cabins near each other. Kaden vividly remembers Tyler coming over to help us get the camp fire started and then, of course, offer to play catch with him! Tyler always went out of his way to make sure Kaden was included and entertained! So many fond memories from the ball diamond! Our deepest condolences from Jason, Michelle, Kian & Kaden Bukala

I am so very sad to hear of Tyler’s passing. His energy and sense of humour will be greatly missed. May all of the wonderful memories you have shared with Tyler sustain you at this difficult time.
