At Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys on Monday, December 23, 2013, of Thorndale in her 80th year. Dear wife of Harold Hartwick. Cherished mother of Brian and Julie Hartwick, and Brenda and Bob Smith all of Thorndale. Beloved grandmother of Joshua and Trish Hartwick, Amanda and Ryan Elliott, and Matthew Hartwick; and Brandon Smith and Samantha Hall all of Thorndale and great-grandmother of Riley and Lilly Hartwick, and Charlotte Elliott. Dear sister of Barry and Linda Hobbs of London and sister-in-law of Helen Hartwick of Denfield. Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Ila Hobbs and brother-in-law Ray Hartwick. A Special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Wildwood Care Centre for the care that Barbara received.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where the memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th at 11 AM with Rev. Sheila Macgregor officiating. Cremation with interment St. Marys Cemetery.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
