Andy and I were very saddened to hear of Stephanie’s passing. We were unavailable to attend her visitation and celebration of life, but were with you in thoughts and prayers. Scrolling through the wonderful collection of photographs that you posted, brought fond memories, many smiles and a few tears. In all of the photos, her wonderful spirit, sense of fun and love for her family shone through. Hers was a life well-lived. Looking at some of the pictures, if I closed my eyes, I could hear the wonderful laugh that we all came to enjoy on so many occasions. As well, it was so evident from the photos how much she loved all of you. In the challenging days ahead, please know that you will all be in our thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Harvey was an amazing person who went above and beyond with her assisting students- I know she meant the world to my brother on a daily basis at school. Her caring went way beyond the walls of the school – my family and I felt very connected to her. We also felt like part of her family. I always remember the letters she would share to keep in touch. I wish I had gotten the chance to reconnect with her and say thank you again for all her kindness over the years.
I’m imagining that my brother and parents and Mrs. Harvey are catching up on things up in heaven.

Sincere sympathy in the passing of Stephanie. We shared lots of good times when we both worked at Woodland Hts. I remember that she and Bob were generous supporters of fundraisers for the Ilderton Skating Club
when my girls were skating. I still think of them whenever I pass the big old house in Ilderton.
I remember her fondly.
She will be missed.
Thoughts and prayers,

Bob and Family,
I was so sorry to learn of Stephanie’s passing. Like so many others who’s lives she touched, I too have fond memories when our paths crossed in 2007 and you welcomed one of my “golden” buddies “Oakley” into your lives. You both really made an impact on his life and he in turn shared the love you and Stephanie showered on him to many others in his life’s journey. Stephanie’s memory may have faded for her but the memories of the wonderful woman she was will not soon fade with those of us who were blessed to have known her and shared even the smallest part of her earthly journey. While we grieve her loss, we can be assured through her faith that she’s arrived safely in her heavenly home and I find myself strangely comforted by the thought that most likely, among the crowd of familiar faces that were there to greet her, Oakley would have pushed his way through the crowd and come bounding towards her, happy to once again be in the presence of someone he held so dear when he too, walked this earth and touched hearts and changed lives. What a wonderful legacy Stephanie has left to so many and in so many ways. Be assured of my prayers for you Bob and for your family in the days and weeks ahead. May God comfort you as only HE can!

I am saddened to hear this. I always hoped I could get back in touch with Mrs. Harvey as she was such a big part of my life throughout my childhood. She was the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful lady and I am fortunate to have had her in my life. Not only did she help me and take care of me at school, she and her wonderful family opened their home to my sister and I in order to give my parents a break every once in a while. I treasured these weekend visits and remember them fondly to this day. We aren’t a religious family, so this was my only exposure to Sunday School, and it’s something I recall each holiday season.
My words cannot do justice to her memory. The love and affection she had for her family was always evident, and to be able to be part of it was something very special. She always made me feel like part of the family, and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her. To the Harvey family: although we haven’t seen each other in a long time, please know that I think of you often and especially now in this time of loss and sadness. Hold her close to your heart, and she will always be there.
Soar with the angels, Mrs. Harvey. You will live forever in my memories and many others whose lives you touched. I love you and I miss you.
