Passed peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London on December 4, 2021 at the age of 57. Beloved wife of Jim Haupt for 24 years. Adored daughter of Ellen (Goraj) Haig. Cherished sister of Jane Haig, and Charles Haig. Fondly remembered by her niece Bailey, best friend Sandi Sheaff, and extended family. Predeceased by her father Ronald Haig.
Throughout her life Leslie enjoyed travelling and had the opportunity to see Germany, BC, and Halifax with her husband Jim. She will be fondly remembered for her beautiful smile, generosity, and positive outlook.
Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at the Pinehill Cemtery, Thedford on Wednesday, March 30th at 2PM. So sorry to hear of the passing of Leslie. I remember as a child having play dates at her family farm and Leslie coming to the greenhouses to play. Jane came too to play with my sister Jennifer. I also remember birthday parties at the farm and catching frogs in the pond across the road. Leslie was a kind and sweet person and had the darkest brown eyes! My condolences to Jane and Charles, Mrs. Haig, Sandi and of course Jim who I was happy to meet once many years ago.
