Dear father of Michelle and Matt Gill of Lion’s Head, Adam Hauwert of Owen Sound and Jason Hauwert of London. Treasured papa of Ashlyn and Matthew. Cherished son of Mary Hauwert of Seaforth and the late Theo Hauwert. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marianne Schweitzer, John and Margaret Hauwert, Kathleen Hauwert, and Dorothy and Dave Smith. Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, Charlene Hauwert and his second family; Adrian and the late Clazina Timmermans and their children; John and Ruth, Elaine and Laverne, Peter and Debbie, and David and Shirley. Predeceased by brother Ron Hauwert and brother-in-law Lawrence Schweitzer.
Friends may call at the Exeter Pentecostal Tabernacle, 670 Main Street South, Exeter on Sunday, June 9th from 1:30-2:30 pm where the funeral service will be held at 3 pm. Cremation to follow.
Donations to the Exeter Pentecostal Tabernacle, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

I am sorry to see my nephew pass away. This is your nephew from the Netherlands. I am the son of Jaap Hauwert. We have seen this happening so often in the Hauwert family due to some bad genes.
This has been researched by a doctor in Amsterdam.

We were shocked to hear of the sudden passing of a very special man. I remember the first Bible studies where we attended together with Nick, watched as a seed germinated and began to grow. We remember how that seed continued to grow and bear fruit as he was surrounded by good people who enveloped him with God’s love.
