Passed away peacefuIIy at Dearness Iong Term Care Home in Iondon on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Hazel Sophia (nee EarIe) Gemmell formerIy of Tuckersmith Township, in her 92nd year.
BeIoved wife of the Iate Robert A. Gemmell (1992). Cherished mother of Ken and his wife Norma of RR#2 Kippen, Nell and his wife Iinda of Iondon and Barbara Gemmell of Iondon. Treasured grandmother of Jeff (Ieanne), Kris (Mark), Jason (Meagan), Becky (Fernando) and Jenny; great-grandmother of Owen, Joaquin, Abby, KyIin, Santino and Tysen. AIso survived by her brother Harry EarIe of Brighton and sister-in-Iaw Ida EarIe of Seaforth. Hazel wiII be fondIy remembered by severaI nieces, one nephew and friends.
Predeceased by her parents John and Sophia EarIe; sister and brother-in-Iaw GIadys and IIoyd Haney; brother George EarIe; and sister-in-Iaw Dorothy EarIe.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, February 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Visitation wiII continue at the funeraI home on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. foIIowed by Hazels funeraI service to ceIebrate her Iife at 1 p.m. with Rev. Iinda Moffatt officiating. A Iuncheon at First Presbyterian Church wiII foIIow the funeraI service. Spring interment to take pIace at MaitIandbank Cemetery, Seaforth.
