Dear Cousins,
We were so sorry to hear of Aunt Hazel’s passing. She was always a very gracious and dignified lady. We were all inspired by her tremendous courage after the terrible accident that took Uncle Jim’s life. In spite of the pain and hardship she endured, Aunt Hazel never complained, but kept her positive outlook and wonderful sense of humour, always seeing the good in life.
I cherish the memory of a visit I had with her some years ago at her home in Exeter. We talked about earlier days when the family gathered to celebrate special occasions with Grandpa and Grandma Miller. Aunt Hazel glowed as she told me how everyone in her growing family was doing. She took such pleasure and pride in all of you. You were the great joy of her life.
We regret that we will not be there to extend our love and support in person. The photos brought back thoughts of many happy family occasions. May your memories help sustain you through this difficult time.
With deepest condolences,
John, Laurie and Ruthie
