Peacefully, at home surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday February 1, 2006 after a courageous battle, Hazel May (McFalls) Davis, born Feb 27, 1934, in her 72nd year. She leaves behind her childhood sweetheart, best friend and the love of her life, her husband Hugh Davis. Cherished mother of Heather MacGillivray of Lucan, and Michael Davis of Grand Bend. Dearest mother-in-law of Bob MacGillivray and Suzanne Davis. Dearly loved by her precious grandchildren: Courtney, Katie-Scarlett, Caleb and Corbin MacGillivray, Crystal and Bryon Ellerington, Harley, Travis and Starr Davis and great-granddaughter Audrey Ellerington. Dear sister of Joyce and Ralph Simpson of London. Sister-in-law of Audrey McFalls, R.R. #1 Centralia, Janett and Jim Barker of Lucan, Jim and Florence Young of Strathroy and Alexia and Bob Tindall of R.R. #1 Lucan. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her beloved mother and father Vera and George McFalls, dearest brother Ross McFalls, mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary and Heber Davis, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marguerite (Davis) and Earl Greenlee, and childhood friend and sister-in-law Almarie (Davis) Young. Hazel will be truly missed by many, many people for her strong faith, strength, guidance and her deep love and devotion for her family and for her loyalty to her many friends. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 7th at 1:30 PM with Rev. Father Bill Ward officiating with The Rev. Canon Beverley A. Wheeler assisting. Cremation has taken place with interment at St. James Cemetery to follow and at Hazel’s request there will be no flowers. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Elizabeth Health Care and the Breast Cancer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by Hazel’s family.
