At the Exeter Villa on Monday, January 20, 2014, of Exeter and formerly of Hensall, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Janna B. (Van Lochem) Heyink. Dear father of Allan and Sylvia Heyink of Hensall and Raymond and Sandy Heyink of Hensall. Dear grandfather of Scott, Gregory, Mitchell; Curtis, Breanna and Chelsea. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mina Westerveld of Clinton, Hanna Lansink of The Netherlands, Alice Bakelaar of London, Wilma and Carl deBoer of Mississauga, Rita and Stuart deVries of Stratford; Grada and Jan Greivink of The Netherlands and Hank and Miep Van Lochem of Burlington. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Bill (1982), sisters Gerrie, Jo and Siena, brothers Gerrit, John, and Adolf, and brothers-in-law Gerrit and Jan Van Lochem.
Friends and family are invited for visitation at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM. An additional visitation will be held at the Exeter Christian Reformed Church, 332 Huron Street West, Exeter on Friday from 10-11 AM, just prior to the funeral service which will be held on Friday, January 24th at 11 AM.
Spring interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to the Mkar Hospital-Nigeria (cheques made to Exeter Christian Reformed Church – Diaconate) would be appreciated by the family.
