Peacefully, at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich, on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 Frank Laird Hill of R.R. 1 Bayfield, passed away in his 76th year. Husband of the late Jean Marie (Pitt) Hill (2008). Dear father of Tom Hill and Sue Hunt of Lansdowne, Freda Hill of Clinton and David and Lori Hill of Woodstock. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother in-law of Marion Hill of Clinton, Kathleen Moran of St. Catharines, Gordon and Ruby Hill of Varna, Marion Gayder of St Catharines, Murray Hill of Kapuskasing, Matty Hill of Bayfield and Trudy Hill of Clinton. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and the Pitt family in Newfoundland. Predeceased by his parents Lyle and Kathleen (Skelton) Hill and one brother Allan Hill.
A private family gathering to honour Frank’s life will be held in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N, Zurich on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with burial of ashes in Baird’s Cemetery, Stanley Township, Ont.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
