One of my closest friends was Deb’s cousin – her name is Joanne Hardy – she loved Deb like a sister or a best friend – she was absolutely heartbroken and devastated when Deb passed and she still is – I hope Deb is in a better place which I believe she is – My Jojo can feel a little relief – as she has really suffered learning of her death snd the aftermath ❤️

Dear Maya,
I only met Deb once with colleague, Patricia Reeves from Seneca College. But Deb spoke so proudly of you, and that was when you were still a little kid.
I remember Deb as kind and thoughtful. Although I didn’t have work with her at Seneca College, she was a colleague all the same.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, and everyone in your family. Deb will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Sincerely,
Mina Wong.

So sorry to come across this notice on the internet. Deb was a outstanding colleague at Seneca College. Her friendly and very capable manner was evident to all.
Deepest sympathy to Maya and the extended Hodgins family.

A star falls from the sky and into our hands. Then it seeps into our veins and swims inside your blood and becomes every part of you. Then you have to put it back into the sky. And it’s the most painful thing you’ll ever have to do that you’ve ever done.
But what yours is yours whether it’s up in the sky or in your heart.
Your friend, Love you forever Deb
