Peacefully at Chartwell Parkhill Long Term Care Residence on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the age of 91, formerly of Lucan and Ilderton. Beloved wife of the late Donald Hodgins (1979). Cherished mother of Tom and Donna Hodgins of London, Jim and Shelley Hodgins of Brights Grove, Sharon McIntyre of London, and Mike and Lou-Ann Hodgins of Lucan. Adored grandma of Matt and Emilie, Alex and Jessica; Randi and James, Julie and Steve; Crystal, April and Matthew; and Amanda and Jordan, and Arica. Proud great-grandma of 10. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Lenore Young, Jim and Florence Young, Dr. Robert Coates and Sandra Young, and Ruth Hodgins. Doris will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her granddaughter Lindsay (2006) and brothers- and sisters-in-law Marguerite & Ross McRoberts, Donald Young, Elva Coates and Jack Young, Elizabeth and Charlie Corbett and Forrest Young, Bob and Audrey Hodgins, and Jack Hodgins.
Friends and family are invited to Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday, November 22nd, gathering at 10:30AM for a funeral service at 11AM.
