Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Monday, September 23, 2019 of Lucan at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Hodgins (2016). Dear mother of Lois and Larry Jones of Crediton, Brian and Elaine Hodgins of Exeter and Barry and Kelly Hodgins of Lucan. Dear grandmother of Douglas and Janet; Michael and Kendra; Ashley and Jeff, Latoya and Grant, Brett and Dawson; 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a grandson Marc (2018), her parents Clarence and Edna Smith, brother and sister-in-law Leonard and Doreen Smith, and her father and mother-in-law Labannah and Olivia Hodgins.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM where the funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27 at 11AM with Rev. Jacob Shaw officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to Lucan Biddulph Firefighters, South Huron Hospital Foundation or Villages United Church would be appreciated by the family.
