It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Charles Wesley Hugill (formerly of Kitchener and Zurich) in his 87th year at Exeter Villa, on Monday, March 6, 2006, Beloved husband of the late Alice Catherine nee Thiel (1972). Dear father of Sharon and Ted Sanders, Grand Bend; Elaine and Bob Strom,Chatham; Gary and Cathy Hugill, Exeter; Beth and Terry Kreutzkamp, Kitchener. Loving grandpa of Kim Donais, Todd and Chris Strom; Scott Sanders and Tina Metcalfe; David, Josh, Alison and Joel Kreutzkamp and his ten great grandchildren. Survived by sisters, Verna Rathwell, Stratford and Mary Horner, Kitchener. Wes will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Jonathan and Gertrude; brothers Clarence, Elmer, Harold, Arnold and Clifford; sisters Pearl Cummings and Iona Carr. The twinkle of his eyes and friendly, joking manner will be missed by all who knew him through his years, many of which were spent building silos and in later years maintaining the grounds at University of Waterloo.
Family and friends may call at the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N, Zurich Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral and committal service will be held Thursday, March 9th at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Zurich at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ann Krueger officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.
