Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care, Listowel on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 of RR 1 Woodham, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Sanford “Sam” Hutton (January 2023) for over 70 years. Proud mother and mother-in-law of Diane and Keith Hurlbut, and Bev Hutton and her special friend Dennis Brock. Adored grandma of Tammy Hutton-Thomson and the late John, Adam Galbraith and Jasmine Hoskin, and Tina Hutton and great-grandma of Isabella. Dear sister-in-law of Joyce Felker, Ruth Gravel, and Murray Bray. Predeceased by her parents Reuben and Elizabeth (Davidson) Pehlke, her son Dennis Hutton, and her siblings; Edgar Pehlke, Elgin Pehlke, Millie Fulton, Phyllis Butchereit, Russell, and Irvine Pehlke.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Saturday, October 14th from 1:30 – 2:30 PM, where Marlene’s funeral service will be held at 3 PM. Interment Elma Centre Cemetery.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
