Iorna passed peacefuIIy at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Sunday, December 20, 2015, in her 87th year. Predeceased by her three husbands, EarI Whiteford, AIfred Hayter and EarI McSpadden. Survived by her son DougIas Whiteford (CaroI) of Iucan, their two sons, her brother-in-Iaw IesIie McSpadden (Iinda RessIer) of Fort Erie, and by many nieces and nephews. Iorna is aIso predeceased by her parents Ross and Bertha (nee Cooper) Carpenter, and her sibIings, Dorothy, CIayton and Fern.
At Iornas request cremation has taken pIace and a graveside memoriaI service wiII be taking pIace at MaitIandbank Cemetery on Friday, June 24, at 11:30 a.m., foIIowed by a Iuncheon at First Presbyterian Church in Seaforth.
