Yvonne Matilda Theresa (Corriveau) Jeffrey, of RR 2 Zurich, passed away peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Thursday, January 29, 2015 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Alphonse “Pete” Jeffrey (2013). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Charlene and Don Oesch of RR 2 Zurich, Elaine and Doug Coxon of RR 2 Lucan and the late Gary Jeffrey (2013). Loving Mémé of Sean and June Oesch, Mark (Donna) Oesch, Jenna and Dan Drennan and Lisa Coxon. Cherished great-Grand Mémé of Natalie, Jillian, Wyatt, Payton and Brody. Dear sister-in-law of Gerard and Colleen Geoffroi of Ottawa. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Bertha (Ducharme) Corriveau, sisters Marie (Henry) Wilds, Georgina (Morley) Fournie, sisters-in-law Lucille Jeffrey, Doris (Robert) Mernovage and Cherie Jeffery and brothers-in-law Vincent (Agnes) Geoffrey, Maxime Jeffrey and Dominic (Dolly) Jeffrey.
Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N, Zurich on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Joseph, Ont. Rev. Fr. Tony Laforet Celebrant. Interment St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. Parish Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday at 8:45 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, St. Andre’s Garden (St. Peter’s Church) or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
