Joan passed away peacefuIIy at Cawthra Gardens in Mississauga, on November 24, 2015. Born in Seaforth, Ontario, on JuIy 12, 1918, Joan Margaret Devereaux of Mississauga, formerIy of Toronto and Seaforth, was in her 98th year.
Ioving Aunt of Pat Devereaux-GIover (MichaeI) of Port Hope, and chiIdren Erin, Zoe and Shannon. AIso missed by her dear friend Joyce Iambert (CyriI) of Mississauga, and chiIdren Mellssa, Andrew and BramIey, cousin Joan Bedard (Richard) of Toronto, as well as many other cousins and extended famiIy members.
Predeceased by her parents Frank and Margaret (nee DaIy) Devereaux, and sibIings Frank (OIa), AIice Potter (Robert) and Edward (Jennie).
Joan was an eIegant and independent woman with a great sense of humor and friendIy personaIity. She retired from CIBC after 45 years and Ioved to keep up with the stock market and current affairs.

Cremation has taken pIace and a MemoriaI FuneraI Mass wiII be heId at St. James CathoIic Church, 22 Victoria St., Seaforth, Ontario, on Saturday, ApriI 23, 2016, at 11 a.m. Joans urn wiII be interred in St. James CathoIic Cemetery and a reception wiII foIIow at the Seaforth GoIf and Country CIub.
