I met “Mr. Eisler” when I was a student of SPS. He was the happy, kind man who kept our school clean, and our kids happy. It was always a treat to have a moment of conversation with him.
I met “Jack Eisler” in my teen years when I worked at Roth&&single&&s Food Market when your mom and dad would come in to shop. It was then he gave me permission to “call me Jack”. What an honour! His sense of humour and friendly ways are what I will remember.
Since moving back to Seaforth in the late 90s I&&single&&ve run into “Jack” and come to know him even better. I loved how he loved your mom and I would often see him when he&&single&&d go to visit her at the manor. Someone described him as a “gem”…that is very appropriate. He made a difference in this community and he will be sadly missed.
My sympathy to your family. Hold onto the good memories of him, and he will stay with your always.

My condolences to the Eisler family-I have great memories from my minor hockey days;my brother Garry and i would go to Jacks house early saturday morning for toast and juice(and sometimes have to wake him up!)-the three of us and i think some of the Haney boys would then walk to the arena for saturday morning house league. I remember one winter morning after a storm and the plows weren&&single&&t out yet-we looked behind at our solitary tracks in about foot of snow!! Goderich Young Canada week was well represented by Jacks teams. Jack was a great coach and mentor of life as well as community activist-he will be missed.
