Suddenly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, R. Gerald “Jerry” Johnson, of R.R.3 Kippen, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011 in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Sandra (Hugill) Johnson. Dear father of Steve and Shelley Johnson of Exeter and Jane Rau of Exeter. Loving grandfather to Emerson Johnson and Brooklyn and Madelyn Rau. Dear son-in-law of Doris and the late Harold Hugill. Brother and brother-in-law of Eileen and Alex Townsend, Lois Johnson, Doug Hugill and Wayne and Joyce Hugill. Sadly missed by his aunt Edna Johnson and his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Allan and Gladys (McLean) Johnson and one brother Don.
Visitation in the Hensall Visitation Chapel, 79 King Street, Hensall on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. in St. Andrews United Church, Kippen, Ont. Rev. Marybeth Wilson and Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Baird’s Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Andrews United Church.
