Dear Sharon – Alex and I were very shocked to hear of Kelly&&single&&[s death and extend our sympathy to you and your family. I know that you don&&single&&t us very well but Alex remembers many great fun days of curling when they met up at bonspiels. Kelly was also very good at stopping in for a chat on occassion and was always delightful to visit with. Alex had a knee replacement last year and Kelly always encouraged him to go for the surgery and was so positive about his own surgery and his results. I remember dropping in to your house one day when we were out touring and you both made us feel so welcome. Whenwe lost our son someone told us that time was our best friend and although the shock of losing a loved one never goes away, time does allow us to remember the good times and it eases the pain of the loss. We are thinking about you and please know that uor thoughts are with you all at this time. Alex and Verna Strathdee

Hi Sharon and family, so sorry to hear about Kelly&&single&&s passing, it was a total shock to us. When I think back of my time around him, a smile comes across my face, from all his razzing, stories of my dad and grandfather from the old winthrop days, to the present moose hunting trips, and meeting up with him in the bush for a ” pop”, to his everlasting big laughter, he will not be forgotten, and will be missed by all.

Sharon and family, So sorry to hear of Kelly&&single&&s passing, he was a very happy fella and will surely be missed by many.
Our son Jason sure has some special memories of Kelly getting him started to dog the bush when he was only about 10yrs old with little short legs, and giving him an old pair of his own deer antlers to take home, Jason has never looked back and been with the hunting group ever since.
Hoping you get through this terrible time with the help of family and friends.
