Dear Doris, Karen, Gerald, Ann, Todd, Scott and Cori,
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Clarke will not only be missed by all of you but also by our Ilderton community. He always had time to stop and chat and was always thinking of others. We have been blessed with his friendship and encouragement throughout the years and regret that we cannot personally be at the funeral to tell you that.
Please accept our condolences and may all of your many, many memories of good times with family and friends comfort you in the months ahead.
With sympathy – Bev and Barb

Doris and family. Please accept our sincere condolences in your great loss. I always enjoyed my talks with Clarke when we met him here and there over the last many years. You made a fine couple. His voice reminded me of George Beverly Shea, and we were always going to get together, to work on some duets. I am so glad we shared that evening a few weeks ago at Charlie and Doreens. One of my boasts will now be that I got to sing with a real talented gentleman named Clarke Loft.

Doris, Ann & Karen,
I’m saddened to hear of the loss of your dear husband and father.
When I think about Clark, I can’t help but smile as he always had such a positive, kind, and caring presence. I vividly remember his wonderful smile boarding the bus every day to Oxbow Public School.
Doris, it was a pleasure to see you at a couple of our last Stumpf family gatherings and more recently being comforted by you and Clark in honoring Irma, Charles, and Karl, who bravely passed before us.
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
May the Lord Bless You and Keep You.

Nine Mile road will never be the same for us. We will miss Clarke so much especially when we would hear his “gator” somewhere in the area and before we knew it, there he would be. Both you and Clarke and the girls were such an important part of our boys lives. He will be missed and lovingly remembered forever. We are left with so many fond memories

I was so sad to hear of Clarke’s passing. I always thought of Clarke as such a gentleman with a wonderful sense of humour. Clarke was the soloist at my wedding almost 40 years ago. His voice was such a gift. Hopefully your memories will help to sustain you during this trying time. God Bless! Sincerely Nancy Hudson

It was many years ago when Mr Loft was in my life but I have never forgot what a great man he was. You would never think that your public school bus driver would teach you so many lessons but Mr Loft managed to for the many children that traveled on his bus to and from Oxbow Public School. He will be greatly missed and my thoughts are with you all in this time of sorrow.

Dear Doris and Family,
Please accept our sincere sympathy in the loss of Clarke. You both were so kind to come and visit my Dad, Stewart McLellan following the passing of my Mom last November. Clarke and Dad went to school together and they had a fine visit that afternoon talking about their younger days. Having lost Dad just 10 days ago, I know how you all must be feeling. I’m sure he and Dad are having a great visit together again now. Remember the happy times, knowing what a well respected and admired gentleman that Clarke was to all that had the pleasure to know him.
