Marion Florence Bere

At London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital on Sunday, February 12, 2006 Marion F. (Roulston) Bere of RR 1 Arva. Beloved wife of   William G. (Bill) Bere. Dear mother of Lynda Bere and her husband Randy Gellender of RR 1 Arva. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Geraldine Townsend of Plymouth, Michigan and Mary Roulston of London. Also survived by her many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. Predeceased by sisters Norma Gledhill, Jean Donley and brothers Keith, Charles and Wilmer Roulston.  Marion taught at the elementary school level and was the first Principal of Northdale Public School London in the 1950’s. She retired as a Resource teacher from Centennial Central, Arva. Marion served on many volunteer organizations including the Middlesex County Library Board, Thorndale Women’s Institiute, Middlesex Elgin Hereford Association, VON Homme Program, Zion United Church Women and OASWT. She was an avid gardener winning many prizes over the years at local fall fairs. At Marion’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral home visitation.
