I am so sorry to hear of Marlene’s passing. Our family from Villeneuve will always remember the Haryett’s as wonderful neighbours. A lot of memories were stirred when mom (Doreen) showed me the obitutuary. I mostly remember how friendly Marlene was. I also remember ‘the fire’ Judy,Debbie and I saw on our way home from the store one afternoon and how fast we ran down the street, hoping it was not either of our houses!
Our sympathy to Red,Sandi,Debbie and Michael

Dear Red and family…I had the priviledge of being one of Marlene’s nurses at the Exeter Villa. It has been a long time since I have seen your family, and I have thought of you all many times, in the journey you were on. Marlene was a beautiful lady and her kindness radiated from her! The commitment and love I had seen in your family to her, when she needed you all the most…has certainly touched my life. Now in my life, I have a close loved one with dementia…and it is a journey like no other…can’t be explained. I think of your family’s dedication and it strengthens me…Hold onto the gift of memories and love…Sincerely,
Jeff, OT and Alysha
You are all in our thoughts and in our prayers. Our deepest condolences.

Dear Red and Mike,
Even though Marlene only touched our lives briefly her warmth, kindness and enthusiasm was infectious and will be sorely missed. She would always welcome us with a beautiful smile and a sparkle in her eye. Her zest for life will live on through her paintings and her children. It is clear when you meet her kids and grandkids that they are blessed with her wholesome heart and warm soul. Her spirit and good will be part of you no matter where you go.
With deepest sympathy,
Christy, Doug, Ian and Lisa Schofield
