Passed away suddenIy at University HospitaI in Iondon on Thursday, August 14, 2014. Mary Jane (nee Monk) Storey of Port EIgin was in her 70th year.
BeIoved wife of 33 years to Robert Storey. Cherished mom of Trevor Schott of Kitchener, whom was the Iove of her Iife. AIso survived by her sister-in-Iaw Betty DaIe of CIinton.
Born in Kitchener in 1945 to parents WaIter and Edith (nee Jackson) Monk, both deceased. Mary Jane married Robert in August of 1981 and moved to Port EIgin in 1988. She was empIoyed at KnechteIs in Southampton and Zehrs in Port EIgin, which began her interest in gardening for many years to come. Poppys Garden Centre was aIso a great gift of empIoyment and meeting new friends aIong the way. FinaIIy settIing in at Home Hardware BuiIding Centre in Port EIgin for over 12 years.
At Mary Janes request cremation has taken pIace and there wiII be no visitation or funeraI service. Interment at MaitIand Bank Cemetery in Seaforth wiII be taking pIace at a Iater date. FuneraI arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
