Dear Sandra, Ian, Donna and Judi
I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s fall and death. What a shock to read. You said it so well when you spoke of his outgoing personality and his twinkling blue eyes. His eyes and smile were two things that I will always remember about your Dad. So many memories just living around the corner from you folks and seeing you grow up. Your Dad always had time to stop and chat whenever I happened to see him around Exeter when I was working up there.
I was away and feel so badly that I wasn’t able to visit each of you at the funeral home and to personally pass on my condolences. My Dad died in early December many years ago, but the Christmas season is never quite the same, and I will be thinking of you during this season as well. It will be tough, but I hope all of you have many memories of good family times which will bring you comfort and laughter in the months to come.
With sympathy,
Barb Shipley (Stewart)

I was so saddened to learn of Stu’s untimely death.
Stu will be missed by all who knew him.
I know from personal experience that he and Lil were very loving parents, grandparents and great grandparents. They will now be united again.
He seemed to have a joke for every occasion and could always lighten the mood. He was a good listener and his advice had meaning.
I know he would want everyone to celebrate his life. Stu was not one to dwell in the past or on the negatives.
Thank you for being in my life, and in our children’s lives.
Thank you for the memories.

Sorry for your loss, lots of good memories growing up on the 16th! Always laughter at your house. Karyn (Welsh)

Stu was one of the most charming men I’ve ever met. As a little girl I watched him chatter away with my father and and I remember being so taken by his infectious smile. I’ve had the pleasure in the last number of years to re connect with him through my involvement at Riverview Estates and have shared many conversations on many subjects. Always a joy to be around – I will miss him and so will the entire community of Riverview!
