At her residence in Exeter on Monday, October 11, 2010 Nancy Laplante formerly of the London area. Dear sister of Barb and Harald Scholz of Stratford, Mary and Bob Cardillo of Ottawa, Margie Konzelman and Carol and John Simmons all of Lambeth. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Doris Laplante and Neil McRae. A private family memorial service will be held.
Nancy’s remains have been donated to the University of Western Ontario-Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology for medical research. Interment of cremated remains at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa at a later date.
Donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

While reading the obits in the Free Press this morning the name Nancy Laplante caught my eye. I admire the decision to donate her body.. I know the family is treated with considerable respect..I remember spending time with you, Barb, when we were ending our time at South. Please accept my sympathies.

Nancy, you never cease to surprise me and this is the biggest surprise of all. Im sure going to miss our lunches at Hansens .shopping at the Doves nest and Noah’s ark .. Our trips for chinese food with Yvonne , the jewellery store and the best ones were the mystery trips and the concert to see Charlie Pride . hanging out at your apt and other great things.
