Bavonia “Vonny” Margaretha (Dekker) Oud of R.R. 3 Kippen, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in her 79th year. Left to mourn are her husband Ted Oud and her 5 children Alma Oud and Richard Jolliffe of London, Yvonne Wright of Edmonton, AB, Chip Cubberley of Dorchester, Ted and Kim Oud of Fort Saskatchewan AB and Robert and Barbara Oud of Exeter. Sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Jenny Hollweg-Dekker and brothers Jack Dekker and Wim Dekker all of Holland. She was predeceased by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Vonny was born in Holland on April 11, 1932 and was one of 12 siblings. She emmigrated to Canada in 1952 where she married her husband in 1953 and raised her family at R.R. 3 Kippen and worked next to Ted in the family business.
Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N., Zurich on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 21, 2010 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mt Carmel, Ont at 1 p.m. Fr. Ray Lawhead celebrant. Interment Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society .
