On April 21, 2023, Eileen Lillian (McClenaghan) Parker our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother passed away peacefully at Huron Hospice, Clinton at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late William Parker (1974) for 29 short years. Loving Mom of Betty (2017) and Larry Johnson (2011), Barbara Graham (2009), Doug (2007) and Henny Parker, David and Lois Parker, John and Eleanor Parker, Jim (2006) and Linda Parker and Beverley and Garry Kline, and Grandma and second mother to Ben Kline and Billy Kline. Special daughter of the heart Julie Parker. She loved her 17 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great grandchildren, whom lovingly referred to her as Grandma, Gran, Granny, Great Grandma, Great Big Grandma and Darling!
Eileen was the last surviving child of Benjamin and Mary (Barbour) McClenaghan of Whitechurch, Ontario. Predeceased by her siblings, Lorna, Mel, Irwin, Doris, Faye, and Carl. Her faith is what she depended on to meet life’s challenges, with a smile on her face and in her heart. Her contagious laugh, beautiful smile and that ever present twinkle in those eyes will be dearly missed.
A private family funeral service will be held. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donation to the CNIB, Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre, or Huron Hospice would be appreciated, if desired.

We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

What a sad day to read Eileen’s obituary this morning. I remember the day Eileen came into the restaurant on her way home from working in London, she wondered if I was looking for help on weekends. I said matter of fact I am Eileen, but I have to ask after working all week why would you want to work on weekends. Her reply.. because I like to keeping busy and I would enjoy meeting and serving customers. And of course the customers loved her, and why wouldn’t they.
