Our condolences on your loss. May your memories give you comfort.
I recall George (and brother Ken) heading the crews installing drainage tiles on our farm and other farms in the area. Sometimes I think it must have been sheer determination that got the job done.
I got to know George a little at Hensall Co-op and enjoyed the way that he engaged with people. RIP

Judy, Rick and Judith, Cindy and Chris, Randy and Carolyn, Rod and Tammy I am so sorry to hear of George’s passing. Many good times were had with your family, and I appreciate your kindness to me during Cindy and my youth. I think one of the funniest times was when Cindy and I picked up the muffler on the side of the road on our way home from London, so we could give it to George and tell him we had damaged the car. Joke was on us when a mouse crawled out of it in the front seat while we were driving home. Wishing you strength and support in this difficult time.

Words can hardly express the emotions over George’s passing. It had brought back a flood of fun memories about by gone days and a friendship that began in our early teens. A couple of farm boys meeting on Saturday nights in Hensall while their parents did grocery shopping. A friendship that grew and continued to grow through playing hockey and ball together, to being the first two employees when General Coach first began, to our marriages and watching our families grow over the years. It did not matter where we went, everybody knew George, or he made a point of getting to know them. He made an impact on so many in the community. A great friend that will long be remembered and leaving me with many smiles.
Our heartfelt sympathies are extended to Judy, Rick ,Cindy, Randy, Rod and all their families.
