We extend our sympathy to the family of Madeline. She and Ken were great friends of Larry’s parents, Gerald and Dorothy Hern and we saw them many times throughout the years. Madeline was always such a kind and gentle lady.
May she rest in peace.

A wonderful caring, giving lady. I was one of the many Madeline touched with her willingness to share knowledge guiding us through 4-H clubs and later with Horticulture. The first thing I learned to make in 4-H was cornbread at Madeline’s place so think of her every time I have it. So grateful for all she added to my life. My sympathy to all her family.

To the family of Madeline Parkinson, Madeline was a very special person and a great friend. She always appreciated my visits to her home and for the past several years at Wildwood Nursing Home. It is sad to loose a loved one but Madeline has not had any quality of life for the past year or so. I cannot attend the service in Lucan but my thoughts are with all who were close to Madeline.
Marie Sisson Grasby-Woodrow
Sincere condolences to the family of Madeline. My parents, Claire & Muriel Sisson were friends & neighbours of Ken & Madeline many years ago.

One of the last of the Eighth line farmers. She was a great leader and inspiration for me after losing my Mother when I was 13. She led Explorers and 4-H and taught me much over my teenage years. I have many warm memories of her and will miss her smile and gentle ways. Rest in peace and know that your life on earth inspired many young girls like myself.
