Peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter with family by her side on Monday, December 30, 2019 of RR 1 Hay, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Jack Parsons (2017). Cherished mother of Brenda and Clare Martene of Crediton, Rick and Shelley Parsons of Exeter, Greg and Carrie Parsons of Exeter, Kim and Preston Dearing of RR 1 Hay, and Lisa and Chris Thompson of Kirkton. Adored grandma of 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Norma Brown and friend Buck of Exeter, Arlene Best and friend Charlie of Grand Bend, Wayne Ford of RR 1 Hay, Maxine and Bill Kovacs of London, and Joan Finkbeiner of Wallaceburg. Predeceased by grandson Michael Martene, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Doug and Norma Parsons.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Friday evening from 6 – 8 PM. A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to Jessica’s House, Exeter United Church, or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
