I was sorry to hear of Bill’s passing this morning. Bill was such an easygoing likable guy and always had a mint ready to offer anyone he met. As our parts delivery driver at Gerry’s Truck Centre, Bill enjoyed his day driving around the city, delivering and picking up parts as needed. Always a smile on his face and a story to tell. On behalf of the family and staff at Gerry’s Truck Centre, please accept our condolences for your loss. Together again with his beloved Joan.
Sincerely and with fond memories,
Sue, Mike and Doug Wardle and our staff.

To the entire family…we wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy for your loss; you will all have many wonderful memories of your time with Bill, and you have so many beautiful photos capturing those moments to treasure. When I think of him, I go back many many years, but still have a vivid ‘picture’ of him carrying his homemade ‘tool box’ (for testing tv. tubes I think) with the penguin logo….and I remember when he made you kids a swing set for the ‘lot’, as we called it, for everyone to use…it hadn’t been anchored yet, but none of us cared and we rocked that thing till it nearly toppled over! I remember him and Dad putting on our fireworks ‘shows’ on firecracker night, as we called it (May24) on the ‘back cement’. I recall Bill scratching his head when he invited Dad over for a swim in the backyard pool; Dad automatically dives in and Bill shouts at him, ”Geezes John, it’s only 4 ft. deep!! Lots of good memories,……just a few of mine. R.I.P. Bill.
