Ab van Marrewijk
Tante Agaath, Ed, Marylene, and Paul and Family,
I was very surprised to hear last week, that uncle Piet died.
We remember him as the man with the cows. Our children were there, when a young calf was born. They remenber him as the uncle who brings the new life on earth.
Be strong in the days which are coming Because every day you will remember him, as the father of the children, the grand father of the grand children, but special the husband of my aunt Agaath.
Greating Ab and Annemieke van Marrewijk

It was alway exciting to pile in the car with all us Vis kids and visit the farm. I will always remember how patient and kind Pete was with all the cows and yes, all us kids too. I can still hear his unique voice and will miss his occasional visits to Victoria.

Just received the notice of Peter’s passing from my brother Cor in Ontario. I thought to meet him again on my next trip to Ontario.
Peter said out to be a Farmer in Canada and did so, but I never got that far. I think that He had a Good Life and a Happy Family.

On behalf of all your loving Vis cousins Agaat, we sadly grieve with you. John, Connie, Jerry, Rose Ann, Paul and Pauline. We all enjoyed many interesting and informative visits to Pete and Agaat’s dairy farm. Pete proudly explained all the daily procedures and enjoyed telling us about the habits of milking cows. A love and passion he was able to give to Ed. We will remember Pete fondly.
