At LHSC – University Hospital, London on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Rev. Bruce Pocock for 54 glorious years. Much loved mom of Lawrence Pocock of Innisfil, and Dave Pocock and Amanda Gillard of Lucan. Adored grandma of Taylor, Keira, Meaghan, Jacob, and Lucas. Dear sister and sister-in-law of George and Bonnie Rogers of England. Pat will be fondly remembered by the entire Pocock family, her work colleagues, and many friends.
She lived her life by the motto: “Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves”. This was evident in everything that Pat did. Her career in Perioperative Nursing was one that always focused on the patient as a person and not as a number. Her many involvements in the community of Lucan and the church families of both Holy Trinity and East London Anglican Ministries will be remembered by her warm smile and voice of common sense. There will be an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM and at Church of the Ascension, 2060 Dundas Street, LONDON, on Saturday morning from 10AM-12PM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP for either visitation. Please click “Register Now” below to register. A private funeral service will follow on Saturday, September 26th at 1PM with Rev. Canon June Hough officiating. Though the service is private, the family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your own home. Stream the service live by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh. Cremation has taken place.
If desired donations to St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation or Church of the Ascension Health and Wellness Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Dear Bruce and family,
I just watched Pat’s funeral service. It was very nice to hear such good things about the Pat that I remember. I felt sad when Joanne Batton told me that she had died. Most of my memories go back to high school and inter school Christian Fellowship and also your time here in Windsor. It was very nice to hear of her strong faith which she learned early in life. Three or four years ago when she was here, Joanne treated Pat, Susan and I to lunch. That day we had good visit and talked about everything, and even grandchildren were mentioned. She was proud of them all.
At this time may I express my sympathies to you and your family.
All the best, Susan and Tom Holmes, Windsor, Ontario

Our Hearts go out to all of you. We were very privileged to have the best neighbors, and through Pat’s love of gardening we have a neighborhood of Rose of Sharons to remember her. Her wonderful Christmas packages and always there when we needed her. Treasure all those special memories, we have many to cherish and so fitting that our last visit took place in a greenhouse. She will be missed.

Dear Bruce, Lawrence, David and family,
Morley and I are very sorry for your loss.
As you know Bruce, I worked with Pat for many years in the OR at Joe’s. But before she started there, we had already met you both as you were our student minister at All Saint’s Anglican Church. One of my fondest memories from that time, was a party held at my mum and dad’s (Jill & Bev Holmes) home and Pat partaking in a skit of “You Light Up My Life”. Singing with the other ladies, housecoat on over her clothes with a candle in her hand and a great big grin on her face. I think the party was held in your honour after you were ordained.

If we were going to the OR for surgery Pat was there holding our our hand & reassuring us. Pat you will be missed. You were a gift to all who knew you. RIP dear Pat

Dear Bruce and family
Please accept my most sincere condolences on the passing of your dear soul mate, a loving mother and a much loved friend to me. As many of her St. Joe’s co-workers have expressed, her presence there was extremely impactful. She lived the mission, vision and values of St. Joseph’s Health Care….continuing the healing mission of Jesus to this day. Among the many who greeted her as she moved from this earthly life into the loving heart of God would have been Sr. Jane Marie. Rest in Peace Pat….your many good deeds have gone before you.
Prayerful thoughts and support
