Dear Boyce and Brad, so sorry to hear of Freida’s passing. I think of all those many scouting events we were able to share with you all over many years. With Freida it was always about the kids having a great adventure at camps, parades and meetings and she was prepared to spend all of her free time making it all mean something, and building memories.
From all the scouters and youth at 1st. Strathroy Scout Group, our thoughts and prayers go with you all and all the family. We will miss her caring and kind ideals.

Frieda and Boyce were long-time members of 1st Ilderton Scouting, but their influence went far beyond Ilderton. As part of the Sydenham District both were involved in programming for the youth of our various communities. Whether it was an area camp, a Kub Kar Race, Apple Day or the Ilderton Scout Banquet, Frieda & Boyce were there.
Boyce and family, our deepest sympathies to you. Peace be with you.

We have many fond memories of Frieda. She always had a “hello” whenever we met. It was a given that she would ask how everyone is doing and what they are keeping themselves busy with. Nice feeling to have the Powell family sitting in the church pew right behind us at Bethel.
Please take care of each other.

We are so saddened to hear about Frieda’s passing. We spent a lot of time together over the years, both at the curling rink and being involved with the Ilderton Group Committee & scouting adventures.
Frieda always had a twinkle in her eyes and wanted to know all about your family. She lovingly talked about her own family & would keep you updated on the news. One of our last conversations was all about her new Great Grandson & it was so wonderful that she got to meet him! Our deepest sympathy goes out to Boyce and the whole family at this time. Rest In Peace Frieda.
