We were privileged to meet Sidney and Viola on our road trip in 2008. They showed us our Neuschwanger family sites. It was a memorable time. Sidney had a delightful sense of humor and was full of knowledge.
We know his Ontario family and friends miss him greatly and so do we, his distant relatives in Texas, USA, miss him. We were indeed blessed to have met him almost a decade ago. May God be with you all.

We fondly remember Sid & Viola from 40 yrs ago when we were young in our Christian walk, and how they encouraged us, and were a good example to us……Then many yrs later, while I was working in eastern Europe, I encountered them, volunteering with MCC, as a large group were converting a former communist university lecture building into a christian dormitory……this, long after they could be excused for no longer having to do more difficult physical labour…..But they were doing it with youthful enthusiasm, and with a passion to serve the Lord…….As we go through life, every once in a while, someone comes alongside us for a time, or for a season; who makes a positive impression on us, and who causes us to re-evaluate our direction and our purpose in life……..For me, Sid was one of these men.
