Peacefully at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich on Friday, June 29, 2018 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Tony Rau (2013). Loving mother of Diane Ernteman and Ed Thomas of Forest, Brenda and Ron McDonald of St. Mary’s, Sherri and Steve Harrison of Arva, Joe and Carolyn Rau of R.R. 2 Zurich, Kim McCann and Mark Hallman of Grand Bend, Derek and Tammy Rau of Cambridge, and Shawn and Cathy Rau of R.R. 2 Zurich. Dear grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Jean O’Brien and sister-in-law of Antoinette Taylor, and Tillie Rau. Patsy will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Anna Sreenan, her 7 sisters, and 4 brothers. The family wishes to thank Dr. O’Connor and the staff at Blue Water Rest Home for their care and compassion shown to Patsy.
A private family funeral service will be held. Cremation with interment St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Joseph. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home Zurich (519-236-4365).
Donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
