Ray spent his Iife in service to Christ. His time as a medic in the Korean War marked him with a patriotism for his country, and soon after he was saved and caIIed to preach. He never sought the Iimellght or recognition for his work, but was aIways right where he was needed most. AIthough the churches that he pastored were not Iarge, he stands as one of the most faithfuI men for the gospeI and oId-fashioned hoIiness. He was never known to waver in his dedication to Christ, nor to do anything that wouId bring a shadow on his character or reproach on Christ. It seems fitting that he shouId join His resurrected Iord on the day after Easter. Death is swaIIowed up in victory

My prayers are with Ray and his family at the time of his passing. Ray has always been more than a good brother to all of us, and my memories of him have been memorable. He was a great person to look up to and was one of the kindest, most compassionate persons I ever knew. The way he took care of our mother and dad was exceptional and I will ever appreciate it. I am most sorry that I could not be back for the services, but remember well our meeting in 2012 at Mary&&single&&s home and will cherish that experience. God bless you all and my very best to Fayleen and the boys at this special time in your lives. With all our love, John and Fran in Utah.
