At LHSC – University Hospital, London on Friday, August 9, 2019 of Lucan at the age of 69. Beloved wife of John Riddell. Loved mother of Krista and Brent Shea of Denfield, Jodi and Ben Greig of Lucan, Julie and Nathan McCann of Mount Carmel, and James Riddell of London. Adored grandma of Colin, Nicole; Sophie, Elise, Mark, Calvin, Leah, and Luke. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Suzanne and Dan Bembridge of London, Elizabeth and Keith Selves of Kirkton, and William Sutherland of Coldstream. Pat will be missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her infant sisters Becky and Judy, and sister-in-law Mary Sutherland. Pat had many loves in her life including but not limited to dogs, horses, hockey, the farm, and Elvis. She enjoyed showing American Cocker Spaniels from her kennel “Candelle Cockers” and her 5 years as trainer for the Lucan Irish.
All are invited to a CASUAL and family friendly celebration of Pat’s life at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre, 263 Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday, August 14th from 4-7 PM. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Lucan Biddulph Fire Department would be appreciated by the family.
Pat’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Reverend Matthew Martin, the nursing team at LHSC – University Hospital: Dialysis, 4th floor medicine and ICU units, and her PSW Annie for their exceptional care and friendship.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Pat Riddell was a kind and generous soul. I will miss her deeply. We shared many heart to heart stories during our time together in dialysis about life, dogs, kids, hockey and gardening. The night that Kraft Canada had the voting for the hometown arena Pat and I showed all the other patients and staff how to vote and to vote as often as possible til the end of your treatment or shift. I haven’t seen you since our last shared camping week as kids at Seeley’s Bay with Ed and Marge, which was many years ago. John, my husband, Frank, and I have seen you more recently than that, but it has been a while.
