Liz and family, we are truly saddened to hear of Jeff’s tragic passing, we met Jeff over 40 years ago and became immediate friends, Jeff was funny, always smiling, tough on the exterior but had a heart of gold. In more recent history Jeff was more than happy to give me a detailed tour of the new shop he was so proud of and while talking about family and business. If you had Jeff in your life you were richer for it.
Our sincere condolences, he will be missed, Tom & Lynn.

Dear Liz and the whole family, what an intensely sad message of the passing of your dear husband, your father and grandfather.
I have nice memories of meeting him, first in the house of Joske and Loek and later during the visits, with Loek, in Canada. He was so cheerful, interested and full of jokes. ( he also was so happy and proud with the clock that he ordered in Asten and that we picked up and brought with us)
A lot of strenght to you all, because you will miss this nice, sweet, warm man.
Thinking of you, Pauke Rouppe ( friend of Joske and Loek

I have so many memories of Jeff mostly starting off in Scouting with him as one of my leaders. One was portaging a lot of cooking oil and potatoes into Temagami Park on a Scouting trip. We caught a lot of fish, probably not quite legally, and ate fish and chips through the the trip. He always found time to help fix things or help out. One time I had butchered a road kill deer and needed a place to put the carcass. Jeff told me to bring it out and bury it out past the barn which I did. Unfortunately I guess I didn’t bury it deep enough and his big dog dug it up and ate and rolled in it and needless to say Jeff wasn’t impressed!
I still use a set of wrenches and sockets he and Liz gave Dar and I for a wedding gift all the time.
Liz, Jeff, Jerry and Cathy your in my thoughts these difficult days.
Jeff you will be missed.

After They Are Gone
When someone we love passes away,
We ache, but we go on;
Our dear departed would want us to heal,
After they are gone.
Grief is a normal way to mend
The anguish and pain in our hearts;
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
Before the recovery starts.
Let’s draw together to recuperate,
As we go through this period of sorrow;
Let’s help each other, with tender care
To find a brighter tomorrow.
